Fishing Forum - Lake Ontario United

I, as a Lake Ontario United member, do pledge to help protect and conserve the natural resources of all the Great Lakes, Finger Lakes, surrounding tributaries and other inland waterways. I take this pledge not only for myself, but so future generations will also have the chance to experience and enjoy our great natural resources as we do today.

I pledge to do my best for the sport, public, environment and myself each time I venture onto the water. This includes abiding by the laws set forth by the Department of Conservation and respectfully executing within them. Furthermore, I pledge to offer my support to all those involved in the fish, wildlife and habitat conservation efforts, while striving to impove upon my outdoor skills and understanding of wildlife.

Most importantly, like our grandfathers before us, I pledge to introduce future generations to all that these great bodies of water have to offer. I pledge to share my time, patience, experience and love of the outdoors with them because I want to give back what someone once gave me - that special gift of fishing. Tight lines and fish on!
