  1. Maybe, but if he were doing better he may of stayed. Just pointing out why it turned out the way it did, but wtf do I know I’ve only been in the creek for 40 years….
  2. Let’s just say the previous owner didn’t do himself many favors in trying to get the most out of that marina. Constantly looking over everyone’s shoulder, tuning electric off to boats, using boat trailers w/o permission for hauling crap, screwing us on the gas, screwing the pen project and I’m sure there’s more I’m not thinking of….. $65/foot isn’t horrible. That would put me at $1670 and that’s lower than any marina that I know of outside of Sandy. At Tommy’s and Franks we have water issues most years and another perk other than the price is we are allowed to hang out at the picnic table to talk about fishing and Gators rubber toys in his boat……
  3. That cut through to the marina should be trimmed. Not sure any fishing boat would want to donate rods to the trees. Jerry and I used to do it on occasion. It’s definitely not as easy as it looks. I’d bet we all wish him well as having a small businesses in NY are tough to begin with…. Billy, you should come to “craft night” at the marina sometime. We go eat ice cream like little kids at Kronys afterwards…
  4. And the suction rubber toys in Keith’s boat were not my idea…..
  5. I use 25# blue label fluorocarbon for my slide divers. It’s great for spoons and flashers.
  6. We did not have the size as Gator, but also pretty darn good numbers in 170-200’. 20-40’ down area. Route 18 mag hot lips and electric funeral were good.
  7. Pending
  8. New prices. Someone must need a spare or have a motor with an issue!
  9. My wire slide divers were insane when fishing inside skinny water this year also.
  10. Also, when it gets tough later in the morning especially when Brownie fishing, I’ll pull my center rigger out and it seems to help.
  11. I was in Duane’s boat yesterday and we were talking about that same thing. After pulling your riggers in for the day, how many times do you mark fish afterwards. It happens every time and yesterday was no exception.
  12. The closest I’ll ever get to a roller guide is your boat at the marina….lol Very cool story. He will be a very annoyed fish for awhile.
