333 Tournament Series for M.P.L.P.-----Rules/Sign-Up Sheet

Recommended Posts

This will be pinned at the top of the Fingers Lake page hopefully Monday when Chad is back at the wheel. That said I'd like to say thank you to Chad and to the LOU for their help with this tournament.

I will have some sheets with me tomorrow at the show in Watkins Glen for those of you that are going.

If anyone is having a problem opening the attachment in order to print it you can PM or call me. 607-760-7130.

You can also make a tournament fee payment of a donation via Face Book on the Cayuga Fisherman page.

Thanks for supporting this worthwhile project,

Mark

After two events the standings are as follows;

1.Lil Lake,,,,,,42-9

2.Blue Bubble,,,,40-2 1/2

3.Nauti-Troller,,,,40-00

4.Split Shot,,,,30-6

5.Bobber,,,,29-4

6.58 Johnson,,,,17-14

7.Striper 1,,,,14-13 1/2

The rest have yet to post any weights at the scales. I know some are tryin and not having much luck another was very sick this past weekend and his partner was sick week one and we have 2 that have fallen from the face of the earth and I have not heard from at all.

I heard a rumor that we had our first victim of the "no I'm not weighing this fish I will get a bigger one tomorrow" scenario, I don't know if you'd like to tell the story or not Rollie?

Next event is the LOU on the 29th of June. This will be day one of the two day event that includes the Lansing Lighthouse Derby.

Thought for sure I could better a 6 lb rainbow, had to settle for a 5 lb brown! It's not that I didn't have the chance, broke a good one off and dropped a good one, all in all it was a fun weekend, 60+ fish and lots of radio chatter with Splitshot. Looking at the big jump Splitshot had maybe there was TOO much chatter! GOD bless

Kade & I held up better than I thought we would with only 2 fish to weigh. Couldn't fish Saturday and we too fell victim to the " we'll get a bigger one" mentality. We threw a couple decent fish back early in the morning that we should have kept....would have kept Scott behind us for another week. That's part of the fun tho. Sadly, my first mate leaves for camp next week so looks like I will be fishing next couple events solo or with rookies on board. Hey...I might actually get to reel one in!!! I think I remember how...:huh::unsure:

Oh I forgot to give you some secret locations Mike... the biggest fish are in their early pattern and are biting well out on south Jeffries, watched Marciano catch an 85" one, I would start there Sunday if I were you!:lol:

NT is right but if they move try running out to Georges Bank that should be hot fishing. Just keep an eye out for the Pin Wheel if your running long copper I think that guy is stoned half the time, BOOST   :P  Good luck Sunday Mike. Hopefully next year it works out that you can join us in this little 333 deal. The way it's shaping up it should be right down to the last weigh in.
