Can't beat a Great Lakes Planers mast (he'll customize whatever dimension you want), coupled with Amish Outfitters boards.

if you can swing it, the Cisco Electric Planer Reels will blow everything else out of the water.  They even drag in the very hard pulling Amish Outfitter Boards without having to stop the boat or even turn towards them.  They are a little pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for.
