do you think i can launch out of Watkins this sunday?

Nautitroller said that surface temps out of Watkins were 33.7-34.2. I see that Fri night will be in the teens, then a high on Sat of only around 25, then low teens Sat night. Do you think Watkins may ice over by Sun am?

You will be fine at the launch by the harbour hotel the canal launch could have skim ice but that depends on wind and how much water is coming down the creek.

With the wind forecasted for Sat and sat night there shouldn't be much if any ice at the launch. If the wind Sunday is over 10mph out of the North there will be two to three footers. The area around the salt plant looked the best with bait deep but very abundant. The west shore water was crystal clear, stealthy presentation if going shallow, Good luck!
