First you need to catch one!! lol! Years ago we tried the old method in Canada by tying I bobber through the dorsal Finn on a walleye since they are school fish, well a day later there were no hooks around this fish so pulled in eye and released him, I guess he wasn't going to give up his siblings LOL better luck with the modern system. lol
