Hit Taughannock at mid day. started out with two lead cores and a rigger with a cheater. The rigger starts pumping and I'm thinking there's a good one, nope both the 50' and the cheater have little salmon. Then boom three lines out and a quad!! Release all the little guys and reset and hit a real nice 4 1/2 lb LL. Trolled North and hit pockets of little guys ended up with two keeper size LL two Lakers on mag dipsy and a nice 19" Brown. Same lures as always purple alpha alewife, orange and gold small NK, I think anything would have worked today. One Laker had a huge 6"+ sculpin and his meat was a beautiful deep orange. If you can launch at the super shallow launch at Taughannock head North between 200-350' fun! post-150622-1453768023029_thumb.jpg

Nice going John. I have to admit I'm envious of the fact that you were out there doing REAL fishing while we've been wrestling with the hard water stuff. There sure have been days this winter when I wish I hadn't put the boat to sleep but I'm sure if I  had kept it out of the barn we probably would have had the NYC stuff going on here

Thanks Les, we have been lucky with the snow amounts. I was very tempted to ice fish this week I had all my stuff in the sled and ready to go just couldn't do it knowing I could troll. We broiled up the salmon with peach mango salsa, fish this time of year are so good!
