Just had a dilemma with a purchase. Seems my standards are different than others. Looking for opinions from the masses.

A seller on here (not mentioning names) hat some items for sale. I was only interested in part of the items. Made an offer. He made a counter offer I accepted. I asked for an invoice thru PayPal he obliged and payment was made immediately. He sent a message and said he would ship next day. Ok great ty. Now today he leaves a message saying he sold everything to someone else and refunded my money so no issues there

Maybe I'm old school but in my book a deal is a deal. You accecpt my money as payment it's a done deal. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I owe an apology. Either way I've sold a lot of stuff on here and after it was sold to someone been offered more. NEVER I renig on a deal after money was paid. Just sayin.

happens on here all the time I had an agreement to buy $4000 worth of tackle on here and was driving 3 hours that night to get it. Agreement made and then he messages saying somebody offered $500 more

its is the ups and downs of buying online

I agree. Still makes the seller suspect at best. I guess all people aren't cut from the same cloth.

Now let's get the facts straight here Steelie... You made an offer for half of my item that was for sale... You also said you couldn't afford anymore then $60. And also said the shipping was gonna be like 6 box if I put it in a flat rate box. The amount of lures would not fit in a flat rate box. Would have been $13.95 to ship.

Yes you did pay and yes I did give you you're money back. And apologized numerous times. Any one that knows me knows I'm an honesty guy. And at the end of the day I didn't have to break up my items and got the price I wanted. Moral of the story .... Yes I was wrong for what I did. Did I give you your money back? Yes I did. Don't be a tight wad and don't ask people to separate their items should solve any issues in the future.
