Yea not a bad idea, but not sure if that would be good to clip on your mono, mine have rubber over the clips so it doesn't have the jagged metal that might cut into your line. I would just get the rubber also, other than that good idea. -

Can you get the torpedos in 10 lbs? I looked on their site and all I saw were 13 lb and 15 lb.

I get at least 8 to 10 days, if not more , of fishing 10 hours a day. That's using duracells, not as long with cheaper batteries.
