  1. Went out for afternoon troll set up at 2:00 wind had changed from south to north marked bait but not many fish after running in search mode finally started to get some good marks in 180 down 80’ caught one on white spin doctor uv gas meat rig called it quits lake was at 3’s and 4’s at that point wasn’t supposed to change direction north east until 8:00 just can’t trust the weather prediction.
  2. Out of fair haven fished from 140 to 300 a lot of the same water we’ve been doing well in. Didn’t mark many fish or bait did end up 1 for 2 with a 5 lb salmon both bites came on spoons behind dipsy back 185.
  3. Tried evening outing, got out on the water by 4:00 bite was good nothing big two @ 7 and 9 lbs and maybe 4 lb llost 5 others inside 100’ from the boat one fish fish we lost managed to take the ring and treble hook completely off…. Never had this happen before.. any of have this happen before….. best water seemed to move north east from the chute out 200’ to 220 for us… most fish were marking @ 80 to 120 down.
  4. Got out in time to see the sun rise lines set by 6am morning bit was good fished in 160’ to 190’ mainly. Seems like meat is heating up only brought 3 strips got one 16 lb salmon then we had two on both meat rigs at the same time tangled together at 75 ft out broke one off the other got off. Had one strip that was beat up but tried running it. I think it just wasn’t running right with that strip flopping back and forth. After that just a spoon bit with smaller salmon. Not sure about fishing with damaged strips but that rod never moved after that, any information would be appreciated. Good luck be safe
  5. Fished today 6 am straight out from the chute caught one on white 10” spin Dr with a pickle sunshine meat rig and the other on the 80’ rigger with a sea sick wobbler. Fish were both small 7 and 8 lbs … quit at 9:00 buddy that was with got sea sick so called it a day.. beat water was 170 to 190 … good luck
  6. Thanks for the report, going out Tuesday will report when we get back.
  7. Fish straight out from the chute started in 100 ft out to 200 ft best water seemed to be 160 to 170 caught one on meat, many little ones on sea sick wobbler spoon… all kings kept 4 …12 to 16 pounds best troll was into the wind couldn’t get any bits with the wind .. fished 6 to noon… fun day on the water … everyone have a great fourth good luck
  8. Definitely interested thanks for the post.
  9. I see that they are now SS without the half weight just hard to pull the trigger on the purchase because of the price… I wonder if anyone makes them here themselves… I thought I could make them from tin myself … still have some time to think on it… this site is awesome and the number one reason I’ve been able to learn and advance as much as I have in this sport that I love. Thank you for sharing it always been a great resource.
  10. Right now I run a 7 and a 10 color lead core on my boats so I’m planning on using them into July or maybe August with the copper… thanks for the tips, especially on not needing the extra keel they are very pricey, it would cost as much as I paid for the boats originally.
