  1. Quick trip to WG this week. Went 5 for 7, all salmon and they were in the 25-35 below the surface range. Nicholas had a balst with this acrobatic 4.6lb fatty. She gave us a good show and provided lots of smiles. Fleas were out in force as well!
  2. I don’t know the exact length but that is a standard sized newspaper next to it in the picture and the paper is 11†wide. It’s all of 33†from what I calculated from the picture. My dad put it in the freezer before he took any pictures of it and plans on getting it mounted?? A Laker is about the only fish that he doesn’t have mounted on his wall and I’m sure my mother will be delighted J
  3. My dad (Tony Tostanoski) and our cousin Joe (Joe Tostanoski) finally got the boat dusted off and took a trip to Keuka the other day. They didn't do so well with their normal jigging routine so they put out their "Meat-Rods" and landed this beauty. 15.2lbs!!! Nice job Dad!!!
  4. I had two hours to burn on Monday so I decided to get the boat wet for a quick run. This salmon was 5.75 Lbs and fought like a big brown. He went deep and towards the middle of the lake. Not the usual acrobatics that a salmon would display but I'd be a little sluggish too if I was swimming in 38 degree water. Dinner is served!
  5. Walt Allen was a great man and had a lot of "know how" on the Finger Lakes. My dad and I fished with him many years and his streamers are worth their weight in gold! Glad to hear that he's still remembered and folks are still using his gear. I still have a few of those kicking around
