I will be out of town (fishing trip to the 1000 islands) this coming week so I wanted to post the May State of the LOU today. We are excited to bring back the popular Calendar feature that we previously had before we upgraded the board a while back.



Our new calendar has several features that you might expect and several more features that are pretty slick to say the least. Just some of these features include:

* Personal/Private events
* Public events
* Birthdays display on Calendar (Pro Members Only)
* Admin configurable event types (Tournaments, Group Meets, General, etc)
* All day/timed events
* List of upcoming events on home page (Pro Members Only)
* Permissions for who can view events (i.e., option for Pro Member Only viewable events).
* Auto Pruning of past events



The feature that I am most excited about is the option to have personal/private events. These events are ONLY visible to you! This means you can put up your charter dates, special birthdays, anniversary dates, etc. without the worry of others being able to see them.

If you are an LOU Professional Member, you will also enjoy the added benefits of having your birthday automatically appear on the calendar and you will get a "calendar quick view" on the home page (right above the chat area) that will detail all the events of coming week. You will never miss another thing going on around the lake again!
