Just got home from the meeting in Jefferson County on the proposed wind turbines being built on Lake O! It was a unanamous vote to reject any wind power on the easter shore! Lets hope Oswego County and all others follow suit! Oh and by the way Kessel was there and said that Niagara county was all for wind power on the Niagara Bar so start asking your county legislators if this it truth or more BS from Kessel!

That is great news! I do know Oswego County has already started the necessary measures to reject any proposals that come their way. They do not want them, either.

I do not think the sand on the Niagara Bar will suoort the towers for long. When they fall over, they will make good "fish attracting devices".

Kudos to Jefferson county BUT watch out Niagara county. That link I posted the other day said one of your legislaters was threatening to sue NYPA to keep the bidding fair so the Bar would have a fair chance to get them. Tom B. (LongLine)
