  2. The Garmin Echomap 93 and 94 chirp series have performed well for me. Garmin is reasonably priced and very easy to use. Like you, I fish Erie and Ontario, and mainly troll. I don't know about Garmin customer service, as I've never had issues. I use sideview and downview occasionally, but most of the time I rely on the chirp mode............. Been a Garmin fan for years.

  5. Do it. Nothing’s changed regarding copper, may have to clean it a few more times but they still work. Buddy and I were on Cayuga a few weeks ago and I pulled out the twin for old times sake and had a ball. Caught weeds but was still fun. Keep Copper Alive! But I have also had a ton of luck with double green glow in the sun too. That flasher will always work dark or bright out.
  14. I am headed up to Olcott on Friday for a few days and was wondering how the fleas are. I would rather splice in heavier mono for my rigger rods before I leave if need be. Thanks Sent from my LM-G820 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. Also Try putting a little Kosher salt in the meat container you keep them in on the boat. It toughens up the skin and they last longer. Especially if your having a slow day.
  16. I'm at the Genny. Looking for a boat mechanic that would be able to work on this. It's going into gear. But as I push the controller forward to give it gas nothing happened. . I have heard there are some mechanics that work on the boat in the water in certain situations. Thought I would post this if there is such a guy.
