  3. Chrome spinny with chartreuse dots White spinny with green dots Jacks pretty girl Basically in the bright sun, anything with chrome, green, or chartreuse will always work. But I have also had a ton of luck with double green glow in the sun too. That flasher will always work dark or bright out.
  4. I am headed up to Olcott on Friday for a few days and was wondering how the fleas are. I would rather splice in heavier mono for my rigger rods before I leave if need be. Thanks Sent from my LM-G820 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. Also Try putting a little Kosher salt in the meat container you keep them in on the boat. It toughens up the skin and they last longer. Especially if your having a slow day.
  6. I'm at the Genny. Looking for a boat mechanic that would be able to work on this. It's going into gear. But as I push the controller forward to give it gas nothing happened. . I have heard there are some mechanics that work on the boat in the water in certain situations. Thought I would post this if there is such a guy. 14. Quick outing from 6-8 pm, trolled 150-170 FOW. Picked up one steelhead and one king. King on 10 color with blue leopard spoon and steelhead on 150 copper orange crush spoon. Strong cross currents consistently tangled downrigger lines so no takers there. West troll speed was 2.8 mph temp was 47 down 55 feet, fleas minimal. Best screen was at 165 FOW. Hope this helps

  16. Enjoyed pulling copper since my childhood (hence my nickname here) until the zebras took over. I mainly jig now, but have been thinking of getting the victrola and twin minnows out again for old-time sake -- just curious how you avoid a constant mess these days with all the zebras? Thanks

  18. Troutman 87, 777 spoon received. Thanks, it makes a great addition to the collection.
  19. My new fish hawk got me so stuck on trying to stick at 2.5mph instead of varying speed I didn't even try anything else speed wise.
  20. 48 down 65. Hit two kings so far been out 20 minutes. 170 feet. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  22. I was out there too - wish I had tried faster, stuck around 2.5 and only managed 2 around 200 FOW
  23. Alewife are the main forage base for Salmon, Trout, and Walleye in Lake Ontario. As far as the St. Lawrence goes I can't comment on that, but I would think it's the same. That being said there are Smelt, Emerald Shiners, Gizzard Shad, Gobies, Bloaters, and a bunch of other species these fish can munch on.
