  2. Not horrible. Easier to flick off in the water, but I'm using 50lb. Mono splice in the rigger rods. I shelved the wire dives for long coppers also. Sent from my SM-N900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app

It even go better today! Boated 15 kings . Even had one triple. They were mostly a heavy class fish with the largest at 24 lbs. And a few lower twenties. That green spinney did plenty of damage on the larger fish again. Great morning on the lake with my partner Terry again aboard the coyote K. Catching Alewives

So, I read the regs a while ago. Mostly because I was asked about Gobey as bait for bass. I don't feel the obligation to read and summarize my interpretation here. If you interpret differently I am fine with that. I am just saying that anyone who want to catch bait should know the regulations. I am not an authority on the subject. Catching Alewives

Please quote from the regulations where it says that. It is perfectly legal to use alewife for bait, but only in a listed number of waters. They can also be transported, but only within defined corridors. You can harvest your own, but only using listed methods. If there is so much bait out there, why are the fish being so suicidal on metal spoons this year? Or are there too many salmonids even for a HUGE bait population?

    Catching Alewives

Sabiki rigs or even small gold colored hooks just jigged in front of them. Is it ilegal to use one you just caught? I don't understand the book, can I legally use perch that I just caught for walleyes when ice fishing? Not carrying either one of them away......jk

    Chinook divers

We are set up for 2 Chinook Divers and 2 Slide Divers. The Chinook Divers are always set the same, and we adjust the Slide Divers if we do 2 per side. Chinook Divers hands down deeper and easier to reel in when released over traditional plastic divers. Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Spun on my waypoints heading back to port- took 3 steelhead and dropped 2 more. Pulling rods soon- great day on the water with my dad! NW troll put the kings in the boat. First year with a boga grip- what a awesome C and R tool. All fish returned unharmed Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  27. If I had the choice, I wouldn't use the 6'6" MH rods. They don't have much forgiveness when a screamer is stripping line. And if you have Flasher, Diver, and meat rig or spoon, it puts a tremendous strain on things. It's a perfect anchor for the fish to rip the hook out.
