  7. Light N or NW winds pushes colder green water in close moving fish into casting range. This condition rarely occurs in spring. Any front moving in usually causes a NE wind and difficult conditions. The next best times are W, SW or S winds. If too much rain happens you can end up with coffee colored water with poor visibility. Use a webcam or call the Slippery Sinker to check local conditions.
  8. Today
  9. I cast my arm off the end of the pier Saturday. Spoons and plugs. All to no avail. Wind was from the east then south east at dark. Saw some large fish surface in the channel, no idea what they were. Before I make the trip again, what would be a good wind? First light or evening? End of the pier at the color change or close to shore? Thanks in advance.
  10. Oh that sucks. Boat looks great regardless. Someone must make one for that boat that will work without too much difficulty installing? Or may an arch so you have rocket launchers and can get those planer reels elevated

  25. I know Ray. I get it because I also fish weekends all over the place and the seniors thing is only for week days. This new plan seems as though it may screw things up for that though....maybe at Dean's too. Have to see I guess. I wonder how many pounds of sinkers and jigs they found when draining the water probably enough for some downrigger weights Maybe have a chance to meet up with you out there Ray when this thing is finished up.
