  1. June 9&10 - Caught some good LM on bays relating to structure like breakwalls and wood. They were hitting Senkos, and Jigs fairly well. Smallmouth were hanging in 8-12' of water but ther size wasnt there.

June 16 - Found the larger SM and they were chaising schools of emerald shiners in 6-12 FOW. Jerkbaits worked the best, but when you couldnt see them I was drop-shotting them off the ledges.

June 16th registration for state tourney - Found out I couldnt fish the state tourney due to the fact I never paid a new national due.   SOB! I had about 12-13lbs located in 3 fish that I could of plucked first thing tourney morning. Anything after that was bonus. So there goes the summer! No dreams of the state team this year.

June 17th - Fished an open tourney on Sodus and did average with about 10lbs. Fishing was tough for the biog guys. As many 1-1.5lb bucks as you wanted though.

  2. Hey guys a spoon that was REALLY hot for me throughout May was a NK 28 Blue Dolphin with an orage ladderback right down the center. I will try to get pics up this week. I know a few other lure companies make this spoon, but I had to tape up my own. Give her a shot when your out there and Im sure it will produce for you!

  3. SMOKED EM! Fishing was on tonight. Finally got out to do some bass fishing after all of these Salmon charters and tournaments. Man did it feel good! Biggest was a 4.4 LM and there were also a couple in the 3lb range. Overall I had upwards of 30 LM. Went through a few packs of 4" Senkos and about a dozen 4" power worms. Headed to Oneida this weekend to begin practice for the state tourney. Wish me luck!

  4. John I ripped through there the other week in my bass boat and never had a problem b/c i wasnt drafting anything. Onthe way in i had to come off plane b/c a boat was coming out. He was hugging the west side of the channel so I was like what the heck and went left. Well I figured out why! I was hitting with the bass rig. Stay to the west in the channel b/c its deeper.

  5. The bass thing is about to start! Im going to be on Oneida, practicing for the state tournament on Sunday of opening weekend, both days this weekend and Friday and Saturday next week. I need to get into the swing of things because I have been trolling for too damn long! Wish me luck! I'll keep an eye out for the delivery.

I talked with Andy too about gettig you guys a cottage instead of a room above a bar. He's going to look into it since he is the Mayor of Wilson! You know you guys cuold always come down and observe for us! Im looking for an observer for the Oswego Pro-Am if you are interested!

  6. NO KNOTS! The fish doctor, Ernie L, uses the inline Spro swivels. Im not sure how Tom from ATOMIK is doing his, but I would imagine its the same. When hooking the copper to the swivel it is more of a wrap than a knot. I need to learn how to do it but if you would like I can take a picture of it tomarrow and post it, but its not going to tell you how to do it.

I have my copper in all the time now. In the Orleans Pro-Am it took my biggest king. Since I have been running it the set-up has taken a fish every trip except for this past weekend. Kinda big and bulky, but it WORKS.
