  1. I hear many good things about Hank(L and M) I wish I were closer to him. I have been treated very well at both Arney's and Lake Breeze Marina. Yes, I have been "HOSED" as you call it at one marina up North Country. Since I no longer go there....not to worry about their name. When I was up in Pulaski area, Mike's Marina was my choice. Mike and Beth always were fair with me and very knowlegable in diagnostics and getting me back on the water safely and quickly. Very important when on vacation, and you have a boat break down. Hope this helps out. Steve.......................

  2. I got Booted out of my home at @ 11:00pm and returned yesterday morning. As much as I hated moving out of my home, it was a good call! No damage here....Thank God ! Lower water leval helped significantly! Good to be back here! Thanks for asking, Steve...................................

  3. Right on the Lake O shore......She's "barkin" now! The lower water leval may help........But, when the north wind hits the water and throws it against the windows....it's BAD! Hope everyone gets through this thing safe! ............Steve........

  4. We used to travel from Rochester to Brennan's Beach every weekend. I noticed along the way old boats in yards. You definately need a "DIRT BOAT." A boat that has a blown engine or outdrive and sits on a trailer with flat tires and is stripped of any fishing equipment. Good Luck! Steve......................"BTW trailer is optional!

  5. My B-Day and I purchased a new(used) boat for me! I've been "out of action" fishing for a couple of years now. I purchased a 2001 C-Stalker 28 foot Penn Yan from Arney's Marina. I plan on bringing it to Rochester in the Spring. Back disability has kept me from using my 21 foot Penn at The Oak. I have average experience and a lot of tackle. I will be looking for person(s) with experience and patience with me to fish 2 to 3 times a week......or more depending. I offer FREE ride and hopefully you can assist me rigging,catching-having fun. Thanx, in advance! Steve...............

  6. I live in the Town of Greece on Lake Ontario. I have to say,one thing I knew I had to do was to install a breakwall when I moved in. The construction of rebar welded in a grid and filled with stone wasn't cheap. I also know that my taxes reflect a "high" water level, which means even though I now have beach, where water once was....I do not own it. As far as I'm concerned, that "thing" they called The Fast Ferry, caused more erosion and distruction of property, than a normal water leval of 246-247 feet above sea leval. Our ponds down here have become "insect breeding grounds." Our channel to Lake"O" was mostly used for jet skis. I miss the "normal" levals. Our Government seems to go to EXTREMES, instead of leaving Mother Nature alone. A boater and Fisherman....when I can. Steve................
