    Tailgate , newspaper , plastic shoppings ( two) if your bleeding them out you will not have much of a mess. Double bag the guts wraped in newpaper throw away where you are staying.

    Spoon hook replacement , what do you use ? I've been using vmc 7650ps #2 on 3" spoons and have two left in my box of 100. I got them from Stamia which seem to be gone. Anyway what are you guys using , 3" spoons , stinger size spoon , mag size spoons on the finger lakes ? Thanks

    Junk in the water after the storm today. We got hit with a lot of rain by plum point. Buddy is camping over on north end of Cayuga and came over here about 12:30 and said Geneva was getting hit hard also....... keep an eye out for junk when your out the next few days.

    Yep if I'm looking for one to eat ( and lucky enough to be choosy ) thats the color I would take no matter the size. Meat is a drak orange !!!     Yep that's what the red stuff is , that's store bought stuff , most times I make my own, bulletbob one more thing to get the last of the of the bad taste out , pull apart the pieces with a fork this let's it out into the oil much better then!!!!

    Do as above , then drain them , pad dry , mix a egg and some milk or water , dip dry fish into mix , then into pancake dry batter , if you like a THICK breading re-peat last two steps....

    Good info guys , guess it time to work on my Albright knots , I've had the small barrel swievel fail , the more $$$ ok but get stuck sometimes , and years ago down past the west side lost a huge landlock when my Albright knot pulled loose that's when and why I changed

    Yep bought some rods at BassPro could not use for spoon rods eyes too small

    Whats for lunch ? What's for lunch ? Fresh laketrout put in milk and paprika over night , trim up with small Y-bone removed. Then light batter and on the stove.....

    You know I'm a crazy spoon guy , I don't like the lage line knot going thru the eyelets get hung up some times
