Anyone know anything about Polar Kraft boats?
My older brother had one years ago. Was a solid built boat, 16' initially ran it with a 9.9 for Hemlock. Switched over to a 40hp to get around the 1000 Islands quicker. Had nothing bad to say about it.

It is never as "green" as they claim it to be.

I have yet to hear of anyone being arrested in Monroe County under the new "laws", not that it hasn't happened. I believe the stance from Sheriff Baxter is discretionary and "education."

Was in this morning and saw what at first I thought was a black cat. As it came through it looked like a jet black mink on steroids. Was it a weasel? It was really cool to see. Probably 24 to 30 inches nose to end of tail.
Any chance it was a fisher ?

They are supplied, and packaged. You could also try Doc's Tackle near Honeoye Lake, not sure if they carry FF supplies though. There is a guy who custom ties flies on Spring Street in Mumford if that is helpful.

Try Runnings in Canandaigua, I know Runnings in Brockport has a fair selection.

TI Bait shop on Rt 12 before you get to the bridge. Exit 81 , head towards Clayton, on your left 1/4 mile. They will have everything you need, and more.

I would just stop at the T.I. Bait store before you cross the bridge.

Opposite end of where we stay. Hope I didn't mislead, was referencing perch when I said never that deep. We still find them in 6' of water, just look around docks, weeds edges, etc. Walleye probably deep in the main channel this time of year, but will defer to Kevin Legg and other locals. Bass are plentiful, and smallies put up a great fight.

What part of Wellesley ? We stay at the east end near Mary Island State Park . always do well around Fairyland, Pike, Hugenot Islands or go into Lake of the Isles or just before the channel. Don't have to fish too deep for them, but haven't been there since Father's Day weekend.

Not sure where on the Seneca River these were caught but for Seneca Lake proper, the fishery, and especially the pike fishery, of Seneca has suffered a great deal in recent years.
SLR = St. Lawrence River

Did you happen to contact anyone at the Maine Dept. of Inland Fisheries for their advice?

I have had one for several years and am very happy with it. Not afraid to carry through brush and brambles and worry about scratching it up like on a high dollar gun. Has extractors, not ejectors, but not an issue for me. Neve r had any issues with it. At least before buying it, see if you can find one to see if it fits, and swing it.

I use a CZ Upland Ultralight O/U in 12 gauge, but also come in 20 gauge. Think it was around $650 new. Weighs in at 6 lbs., 20 gauge will be slightly lighter.
