  1. launched the boat at 615 and head towards east bay. started setting up in 60fow. got to 80 and to my surprise the screen was full of bait. worked 85-100 fow. we ended up 9/13, the only consistent  lure was a silver pro troll with a shredded 42nd fly out 150. the problem was the 4 misses was from that rod. the fish would hit it and when you picked up the rod they were gone. it also caught us a 22lb king. the 31 foot rigger was good for 3 or 4 fish too, it had a Miami Dolphin spoon on it.

I would like to thank Hank for getting my boat running better than new, he does a great job.

  2. Wednesday I launched the boat at 9am and it was good to final get on the water. It was a quick trip. I started out in 100 fow. Trolled north out to 180. I didn't see much out there. I did 2 steelhead. Trolled into 80 ft and did 2 small coho. Everything on spoons. Off the water by about 1145. I will be up there Sunday again.

  3. Lake Ontario charters are dirt cheap! If you are paying less than $800 for a day of fishing and you had fun...you should tip 20%

The one service I am most familiar with, the captain books the trip, makes lodging arrangements, sets lines, gasses and maintains the boat, cleans the limit of fish, Empties the head, cleans the boat and posts pictures on Facebook.

I think he deserves a $50 tip from each person onboard!

Oh...and he remembers who tips and who doesn't......just sayin'
