If you already have hydraulic steering installed on the boat it really isn't that hard of an install to do your self.  If you can prime brake lines on a trailer you can install the hydraulic pump and lines for the autopilot.  FWIW, It wouldn't shock me one bit for a certified installer to charge upwards of $1500-$2000 to install it for you.  And it is honestly something you can do in one day with a few beers.

  4. the curtis farm is located south of oswego, about 1 mile from wrights landing,  just take

    fifth street south and when you hit the RR track its on your left, or if you know where larry's

    salmon shop is  on rt 48 (first st west) stay in right lane and turn when you must, follow

    the street to the end make the right and you hit the farm.  nice people to deal with,

    Helen and Joe curtis, both in their 90's.

                    make a loop in the wire and put it on the swivel, put the loop over the swivel

    and tie an overhand knot, pull tight and trim.  crimps are not too kind to wire, including

    downrigger wire.
