    Surface Temp: (72°F)

    Location: (fishing location)

    LAT/LONG: (GPS Cords)

    Fished with my brother and father tonight. Ended up with 6 bows, 1 small king and a decent laker. Marked some fish in 60 fow but on the bottom the water was 38 degrees. Trolled north and when we hit 225 fow the deep temp came up 3 degrees and we started hitting fish. One bow was around 9 lbs and the last one was 11.5#. Beautiful fish, lots of jumping. The skipper king did not trip the release and as I'm reeling him in I notice he has a few lines tangled. When I go to hoist him up on the boat he has a mag nk and and and a 28 nk in his mouth. Man no wonder why they grow so fast. We worked that break and that's the only place we hit fish. As the sun began to set we started marking fish but they were 120 feet plus deep. Great father's day night.

    Good fishing!

    SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

    ====================

    (add pictures and any other details not captured above here)

  2. We were just east of you in the 18 ft. Whaler. We were 3 for 4 on kings, all spoons at 40-50 down over 90-110 fow. The first king around 13# tried his damnest to get off first going into the wire, then the core, then the other wire :devil: . I like it better when they take out 300 ft. of line and are less green around the boat. The other 2 fish were 8# and 4#. Not fast and furious but a nice night on the lake.

    Good fishing.

  3. Got started right at first light. Not much happening off the river so trolled towards Russel in 10/20 fow. Saw a few fish roll but only hooked up with a 5# Steelhead in 80 fow, down 15 on a metallic frog SS. That was it. We made it down to Braddocks and in 110 fow their was diving ducks, comorants, merganzers & loons everywhere. There must have been 300-500 birds. I didn't mark much around them so I hope they didn't clean out a whole baitfish population..... :(

    See ya next year.

  4. BigRed,

    Yup, you need to send it in. I've had 3 older digitrols changed over. 2 to mag 10's and 1 to a mag 20. Screwy Louis can change it over to a mag 10 but to get to a mag 20 Cannon (Minkota now) (Johnson Outdoors) must do the work. When I had it changed to a Mag 20 in 2005 it was $250. The change to mag 10 was somewhere around $150-$175.

    Good Luck.

  5. Started out late today somewhere around 7:45. Anyways, did a 24.5# king, 210 out 2.5 set mag dipsey purple dock, purple fly, in 135 fow. Ended up with 2 other smaller bows, purple frog 65 down, and white dr, purple mirage 100 down. That was it, quit around 11:30. Had the carb rebuilt this week and it still needs to be adjusted. We could only get up to around 2800 rpm and 15 mph. I'm not sure how bad the storm building off Braddock's was but being a slow boat today I really didn't want to find out. Has anyone heard so many weather reports with Waterspouts mentioned in the same sentence. I think this is the 3rd report this week alone. :shock:

    Good Fishing.

    John
