Fished it over the weekend went 3/7 not really a lot of fish on the river yet but enough to keep spirits up I will be posting a more detailed report with pics soon any questions fell free to ask as I've been doin this my whole life and would love to help.

hello everyone sorry its been awhile been havin trouble with my account but now that thats squared away anyone know how deep the perch are in the chaumont bay area? they still 65ft off cherry island? any help would be greatly appreciated as i have marine vet that would like to take up ice fishing and as i dont really do it anymore i would like to find him some fish. thanks again

fishin pretty much every night this week by the amount ofɜ fish jumping we should get into emɜ good ill post in the am when im done fishing. anyone know if there's any trout in there yet?

Fished from about 1am to 9am hooked four boated two.25lb and a 20lb.One trolling after sunrise one casting early. Spoons and plugs. Few more boats showed up around dawn with ppl boating fish.The girlfriend and old man are really outdoing me as i have yet to still hook up ha Any questions let me know will prolly be back there this weekend

Went this past weekend fished the river fri and sat night bumped a few dad landed 1 24lbstreid weekend b4 too with no luck. Few fish jumping gunna try again this weekend should keep gettin better

When will these lures be available and where? thanks

ha well thanks guys i can always use a little advice with both there are defiantly alot of great guys on here and i am looking forward to sharing info with you all If anyone is in the golden crescent keep an eye out and give a holler

boated 2 lost 5 more in the black river on spoons fri and sat

we have a camp just b4 point peninsula and we fish for walleyes quite a bit up there. umm as far as now i dunno really how to help much as i sprnd most of my time now salmon fishing and duck hunting but i no b4 the water turned over we were getting them in 75 fow with rapalas with snap ons. umm fished the black river mouth last weekend and saw them on the aqua vu in like 15 fow but no takers ill let you know more after this weekend as i plan to do one more walleye weeknd sorry for not helping much and goodluck

well tried the river, the black river bay and the chaumont river/bay and caught on monster smallie did see people bringing in fish they said there were getting drifting spinners and jigging between the channel bouys at the mouth of the black river. saw one guy at the chaumont river launch with about 6 with the smallest being like 28 inches. said he caught them trolling spinners from 7-30 fow catching them at all different depths. good luck to all this weekend ill be back out in two weeks gunna try onieda lake this weekend.

well we went out last saturday (sry so late) did a little trolling for browns on the bay only pulled out a 15 incher in about 20ftw. tried fishing the river again and thats when the real fun started. must have caught atleast 20 smallmouth with the smallest being around 3lbs and the biggest 6 1/2 lbs caught acouple walleyes around 23 inches. man I hope there still there sat. good luck to all next weekend and if your goin the black river say hi ill be there sat afternoon and prolly sun morn. black and gray starcraft fishmaster

well figured id drag my old man outta bed so we could be the only retards out fishing in a nice below freezing blizzard We Tried back-trolling as close to the dam as we could get,in the holes down rvier, and behind the island with no luck. so we then decided to try jigging. Bam too Bad its still 3 Weeks Away so then after we brought the boat in i figured id try casting off the launch. caught about 5 more each, smallest being about 4lbs, biggest around 13ish. also caught a bunch of nice chain pickerel. Does anybody know if they catch many brown trout in the black river/black river bay? But anyways all in all another great weekend with my old man so i guess thats what rele matters huh. lol that and those monster fish
