That's amazing. I thought a short lead like that would spook the brown trout. Where would that be because there is no boat traffic out on the lake yet.

Just returned from a weekend at Fairhaven. Fishing was excellent. Fish were scattered from 120 ft to 600 ft. Ended up 12 for 12. 4 matures. 4 teenagers and three steelhead. Spoons, flies and meat all took fish. Lots of fish brought into the marina. Our largest was 21 lb all three pictures came on Chinook divers out 300 ft green and white Pro trolls with atomic Ultra glow green flies. We fished 180 - 250 feet down 80 to 100 ft

Thanks. I fish out of Fair Haven have been marking high fish for weeks can never get anything to fire. All fish have come 85-120 dn.

The Brown bite is still strong 7-15 ft last weekend. West all our fish came on spoons off the riggers and boards

Saw the same at Fair Haven on Sunday. Brown trout stuffed with small alewifes plus many dead on surface. Birds having a feeding frenzy

Just tried them today for Brown's in Fair Haven slow bite. Took all 4 fish in Hybrid spoons. Have to pick up some more. Are they only sold in the website? When I got these website was slid out of most 3 1/4 spoons

Just remember speed limit is 5mph in the entire bay. And 500 ft of shore in the main lake. Coast Guard was out today

No fishing today frogm Fair Haven. 1 charter fished bay for Brown's caught 2. 2-3 lbs. Hopefully get out tomorrow am.

Chinook divers are great been running them for 2 weeks much easier to bring in easier to fight fish on and much less drag when in the holder. Haven't had one false release in 2 weeks. Gave them a work out this weekend 7 nice kings fishing out of Fair Haven. Don't think dipsey;s will be seeing to much water time now.

Screwy Louie's in Fair Haven sells them

Thinking about trying some MC Rocket bait strips. Anyone have any luck with them? If so what colors would be good to start with I fish the east end of the lake. Thanks Larry
