  1. 7am till 11am,25-35fow,lots of dinks 50+ no keepers[9+] every hole showed fish and the dinks would hit everything,very windy so i didnt move much but didnt hear of anyaction either.the bay is in great shape for walkin though.and so long 4 now;john

  2. the best and safest[weather] place to launch and be close???? to the fish may be fremac's on the south side in lakeport.straight out of the launch and to the west is a good weed bar for eyes, perch or bass.after that head slightly ne after you pass 22 fow you will come to another weed bed.same deal.after that, north east ,the water starts to drop off to 22-32 fow.eyes and bass.and you are still less than 2 miles from shore!!if you keep headin ne you will come to 38 to 42 fow these are the pancakes,still less than 3 miles away from shore and walleye territory.the lake is full of bait.good luck and hope this helps.and so long 4 now;john

  3. fished north and east of 119.caught 2 eyes and 2 perch,if it wernt for the weeds foulin my set up every 15 seconds would have limited out.trollin with dipsy in 50fow.warked lots of bait and fish just not many tackers with lures fouled with weeds.had a few boats around me but didnt see any caught??.if anyone from the board was there i was solo in a blue bps jacket in a 16ft deep v tracker with a 50merc.now that bow season is uppon us fishin will take a back seat.and so long 4 now;john

  4. if you need a new place to try i recommend maxwell creek.there are lots of area for northerns and as soon as it rains it will have salmon and steelies along with northerns.ive caught 3 large[36+]northerns from there tossin spinners for steelies.tuff to beat a36in fish with 6lb test line with a noodle rod.and if you would like i be more than happy to show a rook how to icefish.pm me and let me know;and so long 4 now;john

  5. those eyes look like they eat well,same story as a previous post always meanin to go up there but unless your shown the ropes once its tough fishing,not to mention a little expensive.ive tried what your doin a half dozen times ,but without the planer boards,usin dipsy divers instead,should i invest in planner boards??congrats and so long 4 now.john

  6. fished from 6am till 1130 am.jigged the weeds nothin,started trollin in 24fow out to 42fow,marked an amazin amount of bait!!never seen so much in 40fow.the smallmouths were literally jumpin out of the water chasin minnows in 41fow.marked lots of arches but caught no eyes .for the day it was 2 smallmouths a perch and a large 13in whit perch.not sure if the eyes were there or not but the bait clouds were crazy.put the walleye stuff away today goin to catch some perch till bow season opens and so long 4 now;
