silver bass,cross lake is loaded with them.

fished from 6-11 am 8-24fow,,,all blade baits.1 eye.,,,1 smb.,,2 break offs on some big fish?? my way points had fish on the screen just no takers..and so long 4 now

caught 9 eyes and 2smb most in 18fow,on saturday between 530 -12 am and  5-8pm .....left the launch sunday morning only to have fuel issue...........yin and yang.........blade baits caught most of the eyes.gold,and prism seem to be the color of choice..and so long 4 now

fished the n end of cayuga from shore,3 keeper perch 20 dinks,the wind and cold where brutal.but you cant catch them from the couch..and so long 4 now;johm

if you wouldve seen the wind and the cold you woulldve 

fished from 7-11am in 12-40 fow.minnows plastics and flies.2 men zero fish,tried drop offs,sand flats, weeds,could not buy a bite,.and so long 4 now

maple bay has good structure.if weather cooperates the shack shoals due north of the ssbl is a great spot,dakin shoals out of harris park..what you mention for bait lures,technique will work..gobies will love the worms..try to keep your bait 12-16in off the bottom..worm harness in purple ot chartreuse works well along with gold .purple,wonderbread and brown blade baits will do the trick..good luck and so long 4 now;john

the fishing is amazing.my best day was a 2 man total of 218.was there last year as a rookie and will be there this year .if you ever wanted to get tired of catching eyes..

flasher for sure..camera has its limitations where as a flasher will always work

the dusk bite is starting to rev up..caught 3 keepers in less than 20 min casting a bay rat .......ghost color......at sun set ..wading on the south shore..and so long 4 now,john

tried for the perch yet again.i had gobies come up 12in off bottom ..couldnt find many slbs kept 10 over 10in..lots of dinks even in 28fow..very odd..my fav technique is vertical in 12fow in the weeds..the gobies wont allow it..and so long 4 now

the oneida lake nite bite is starting,i caught 2 eyes 1 perch 1 picheral and 1 catfish!!!all on a ghost j9...and so long 4 now;john

how does 1 suggest to catch perch when the gobies wont leave the bait alone?caught the the gobies in twister tails blade baits and minnows..found active perch but the gobies always seen tp be faster!!and so long 4 now;john

havent fished otisco in a long time and it showed.fished for eyes for an hour early..7am till 8..nada but a bass..spent the next 3 hrs chasing tigers..lost 2,saw 2. 2 smb and a crappie hit a blade bait.being ripped near the weeds??jet skis and pleasure boars where out by 11 called it a day...................................................now for my rant...launched at the campground.2 lanes thick of penn plates..bass tourney..1 boat was having issues the other next to him was assisting..5 mins pass..traffic is backing up on the rd waiting for these 2 to move..so i had to be the arsewhole and ask if they where going to move..ofcourse they said they had boat issues,,i said obviously butt can you leave the staging area so those of us whom dont have issues may launch and fish..you wouldve thought a light bulb went off..4 men traded stories and decided to open up the ramp..sometimes i wonder..if you look behind you and see 4 boats waiting to launch while your fixing your issue how does the earth rotate w/o you..

well done..i enjoyed my quebec trip so much im going back next year.and hopefully every year there after.its tough to beat a 200 walleye day,tossing back 19in eyes like there are 6in perch..and so long 4 now'john
