  1. It was a fun read, and a few great stories and pics . If i could give a little advise it would be read non biased books on deer..and deer activity............DONT go to the index and look for the "food plot" section...read it from front to back.  if yer favorate food is prime rib and you ate it for 30 days in a row, after 30 days it would be easy to walk past the prime rib section to satisfy your body's needs..........."White tail Wisdome" is a good book..even with over 50 years in the woods with over 40 years hunting i lernt a lot about them...............the 3 s's      sent,sent,sent...........do apply and i mean the human kind ....Thanks everyone for sharing with a old fart.....next summer when im home if i have time i would be happy to "walk your land " and share a few things them deer lernt me...

  4. turnips are a great buck attractant when in velvet and right now ................their is a book called" White tail Wisdom" that might be worth reading if ya wanna know what food plots are all about...................and does too  the night pic is bare ground in another late planted turnip plot between deer turkey and coyotes (yup they eat em too and they love apples "yotes" )  after velvet shed 95% of the bucks went for acorns and nat brouse   .........But i only hunt a average of 50 or 60 days a season so i might be full of .......well the cameras don't lie
