  1. I had a boat with clients aboard a few years back, out of sodus, push me into shore with his spread. As my dad frantically tried to reel in the starboard planer to avoid going board to board. We missed him but we had to go in so shallow so fast we had one hell of a mess to get out of the lines. The charter didn't even try to give us room or avoid us. Some people have no respect. Had a great day on the water with my father and son just the same..

  2. I'm having the same problem! Never jigged for them before either. I work at dicks so one would thing I would be able to get the stuff easy. Both field and stream and dicks have all the plastics but no 1oz jig heads.

  3. Thank you very much guys! I will definitely have my PFD on for sure. Sounds crazy but honestly this is the warmest weather I will have had it out in. I usually use it to set my decoy spread and retrieve ducks.

I was really think of hitting the south end of the lake like around painted rocks. Is that a good spot? I have done real good there trolling in the past. My boat is undergoing repairs and won't be swimming for a while.

  4. Hey folks, I was hopping for a little advice on jigging up some lakers. I have never done it and I'm thinking of taking my kayak on Seneca this week and trying it. What are the best lures to use? I'm assuming ya target 100fow for them? And help will be appreciated. Thanks and good luck to ya'll!

  6. That was my buddy and I on the duck boat. Its his boat and it rides like a dream! Its a Duck Water Boat that he bought on long island the end of January and Wednesday was the first time it has seen fresh water! We hunted eiders and scoters off of Montouk in 6 foot seas and had a blast. Took several brant and divers out of it too before bringing it home.

Oh as for the fishing.... on Wednesday we fished from 930 am till dark and boated over 80 fish! (that isn't a fish story!!) surface temp was 42.2 and they had the fed bag on!! Saturday we fished from 7am till 3ish and boated 18 LL salmon with one 10lber! Once I figur out how to upload the pic from my phone i will post it.

    Tight lines all!
