Hawkeye50, any chance u can post some detailed pics of the bracket(s) under the swim platform for the kicker? i have a 255 intruder with same platform & want to mount a kicker in the near future. did u make or buy extra brackets for kicker support? how is the road bounce when trailer'ing? big thanks! jetsled
  4. Nick, what is the link to that buoy/weather pic? different than the NOAA one. thanks!

  8. after looking at pic, do you get a good signal with just blacks release/wire & coated cable? need better pic of that connection to the probe.
  9. ouch! that sucks! line fraid & snapped. wonder if the eyelet on lower half had just a hair of movement that over time finally gave up! is that a store bought one or home-aid one? Fish Hawk makes a breakaway for down rigger balls. Still cheaper than losing probe!
  10. awesome! curious what dipys setting u run on those 2 pink poles in the background? assuming the left one is the high one (setting 3?) & right one is 1.5? thanks!
  11. same reason i have NOT gone to 3 riggers. i think is just a little too much for my setup. fish on!!!!
  12. i thought u ran 3 from past pics/videos. i had a cannon mag 5 HS fail this past weekend using a 20lb shark. i worked fine for 30+ minutes up/down in deep water, then struggled one time just before reaching surface. either board went or motor gave out. calling fish307 shortly to troubleshoot it. looks like light wind out there and 1 foot waves! wish i was back up there instead at work in SE PA!
  13. good luck. now that u have 1 year on new Simrad, what is ur overall view on it? thanks, jetsled
  14. South East wind is going to push that warm water NORTH & back fill cold water. Should pull fish in closer to shore. Good luck. Big difference than this past weekend & 68* water all the way down to 120ish... Jetsled
