Do you leave the hooks? Just a thought!

Bay Rat lures 30% off till midnight tonight 12/2/19.

Ok, Thanks!

Anybody if the docks are still in at the I-Bay launch?
-
Used the launch yesterday with my boots and when I came in somebody had wrapped both docks with plastic safety tape and block both off with plastic gating material. Don't know what that's about. Thinking the town is afraid somebody is going fall on the docks and sue?
-
Ok thanks!
-
I was just wondering if the launch is any better than the last report?
-
Thanks! Same as when I was out Monday.

Looks like a nice morning. How deep? Temp?
-
Lake still rough at 11.
-
Saw a 10 meter Trojan going out at the mouth when I was coming in and it was rocking pretty good. Maybe had some seasick clients.
-
Your lucky, I spent $7 to launch at the river and then went for that rocky and rolling ride. Decided it wasn't worth the effort and pulled my boat (18ft Alumacraft).

Is the launch at Sandy still closed?
Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

That's a good idea!

Good to know, thanks!

I use Ande 40lb. Seems to work good with 20lb fluorocarbon leader. Paid $15 for 1/4 lb spool.
-
That's weird!

I haven't caught one but it reminded me of some good luck I had last year. I had my line break with a flasher-fly and a cheater line and spoon, like $15-20 worth of hardware gone so I thought. I looked back and the fish was flopping around on the surface so I thought what the hell and turned around got in the front with my net and scoop him out of the water with all my lures. Cool!

Used the one at Manitou Beach a week ago and the price was $6 each way. A 50% increase. Coins do work.
-
How much are they charging this year?
-
Bought this last year for $1600. Only diff is mine has blue-tooth. Quick release plate is probably another $60 or so, I'm guessing. Would have jumped on this last year.

Might need boots to launch. You can get on dock without boots but may have to back vehicle in further than normal because of high water.
Kicker motor
in This Old Boat
Posted
Thinking about getting a kicker this spring. https://onlineoutboards.com/collections/outboard-motors seems to have best prices with no tax and free shipping. Debating between the Mercury, Tohatsu or the Suzuki 9.9hp with elec start and power trim. The Suzuki is the least expensive then Tohatsu and Merc the most expensive. Has anybody bought a motor from onlineoutboards? Opinions on the brands of motors. I think they all make a quality product but is there a good reason to spend more on the Mercury or Tohatsu? Prices start at $2625 for the Suzuki, $2737 for the Tohatsu and $3030 for the Mercury.
