Stop at the WaWa in Blakeslee or White Haven in the Pocono's and there are few Pa plates, they are all NY and NJ. Big city people have a different attitude.Mr.clean I respect ur decision especially bein its a huge event. I’m from Northeast Pa (The Pocono area) and were surrounded by communitys with summer homes for people from NYC and they are swarming the area now comin from “The Epicenter” of the pandemic. All local gas stations and food marts are loaded with NY license plates and now our countys number are doubleing every 2 days. And it doesnt help the Martz busses have been running non stop back and forth from NYC till they got shutdown today. I’m itchin to get on Lake Ontario. I have a house now in Pulaski, but i will be stayin home DRooling over the pics you guys are posting.
Congratulations Mr.Clean and hope all goes well for you and your family

Yes, put them in the filled bucket without touching. Removed the barbless hook in the bucket

That is what I was about to assume, online. Office is probably shut down. Local DMV offices are probably down also.

I have not received the boat and trailer registration renewal applications in the mail yet. Has anyone else experience this?

This fishing buddy will wait in the boat or on the dock all day waiting to go. Would sleep in the boat and never leave if I let him.

Just wondering how that will be affecting fishing and if it will be enforced upstate. I am considering going to my camp at Sandy Pond and staying there if Pa does a similar order. Would rather be stuck in a fishing are than at home!

Yes, was a party place for decades with all the trash to match. Now it is part of the Pinchot State Forest, all cleaned up and also has excellent hiking trails.

That's the plan. Did you do any good?

If you are going to continue to use in saltwater, the same thing will happen in 2 or 3 years unless you install a closed cooling system.

Had to find an alternative to the lake since I am watching my 8 yr old granddaughter who is off from school. Decided to kill some time at one of my childhood hangouts, The Seven Tubs area on the east mountain of Wilkes Barre, Pa. This is Laurel Run Creek, a designated wild trout stream and loaded with small native brook trout.
Easily caught half dozen 6 inch brookies quickly. Of course, released all. Gorgeous little fish.

A few years ago I bought a few packs of the Storm WildEye live goby soft baits. Had intended to cast around from the boat when anchored. Never tried it but they look very lifelike. Maybe this year for something different on a flat day!

A recommendation for your SS hardware. Instead of running all over creation looking for the right screws and bolts, order it from McMaster Carr online. They have everything imaginable and ship quickly. If using the boat mainly in fresh water , 304 Stainless is good and a bit less expensive. If using in salt water a lot use type 316, much more corrosion resistant but about 25% more$.

I bought 8 Okuma Coldwater reels (45 size) for salmon a few years ago. Liked them except for creep when used on a dipsies and sticky drags all the time. Called Okuma after about 2 years and even though they were out of warranty, they gave me an authorization number to send to Tuna's. I only paid shipping out there. Reels were sent back with new drags and tuned up. Now they are excellent for the cost.

Looked online for that. Hard to find and expensive. Where do you get em?
Savant Jake 45 in goby was the best BT lure I've ever put in the water.......... behind a diver.

Years ago I took a liking to the smaller size silver streak for spring browns, especially one called Janet Jackson. They have since changed the name to Pink Alwaife.

I have a 93 Sea Nymph GLS 175
Which has an aluminum floor from the factory, just wood over the gas tank. I know Lowe was an OMC like Sea Nymph but didnt know about Grumman. If it is OMC it would have an alum floor in 96. My transom is still good. That always depends if everything was properly sealed during its life.

Dont overlook the Motor Guide models. Some say they are quieter, more efficient and store easier than.Minkota

I didn't realize seastar made this setup for converting a rack and pinion cable steer mercruiser to a hydraulic helm. Going to seriously consider it with intent to interface a Lowrance Hydraulic Autopilot.

Yes, I lost a 14 lb weight about 2 years ago with the break at the snap. Good thing it wasn't on the probe side. Cheap lesson.

I made a comment last year about losing a ball when the clip on a Blacks release broke at the bend. The release was a few years old and I remove the weight after each trip so the clip was opened many times. The fatigue and the wear from weight moving back and forth caused the breakage. Point being I replace the release on the probe downrigger at the beginning of each season. I use Cannon STX riggers and they are scary violent on start and stop. Tried Amish snubber but they are large and seem to increase blowback some. Tried the Dreamweaver snubber that is two twisted clear bands with a generic blacks type release between them. Was a bit too elastic for my taste so I disassembled it and used one of the twisted bands per rigger just above the ball. This works well to calm down the cannon stx stops and starts. Another thing to be aware of is the eye hook area on the Fishawk. The piece both top and bottom is a stamped part and has a sharp edge on the punch exit side. I deburr that sharp edge very slightly because I dont want it rubbing and wearing the clips, especially on the top one which can cause a probe loss.

I vote for leaving well enough alone especially if no leakage is evident and since they did not spin by the impact gun. Apply more 3M caulk around them and remount. If they spin when retightening then that is another story necessitating redo.

When looking into flooring for my boat, i noticed the manufacturers have recommendations for adhesives. They have different types for wood and alum.
