I always felt Mayer's should have charged more for thier launch based on the entertainment value I got waiting to pull the boat after a morning of fishing. Some of the funniest stuff I have ever seen.

PM sent.

I installed a ControlKing last year and am very happy. Easy to install and easy to use.
-
Installed a Tohatsu 9.8 on my 2102 late this season. Used a panther motor mount, ez steer for steering and a control king for throttle control. Got to shake the bugs out and make a few trips on the new setup before pulling the boat and am very happy. Works great and would definitely do it again.

SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS
====================
Had a good friend come out for our last day of fishing for the week, so we braved the lake on a day I would have normally stayed in bed. Not a lot of fun in 4 footers with a few 6s thrown in, but great fishing. Lots of bait and fish between 100 and 170 FOW. Started with a small steelhead and then a steady pick up of Kings for the rest of the morning. Big fish was a nice 22 lb King. Some of the best fishing I have ever seen last week and I can't wait to get back out there next weekend!

I have bought rods from Bretts in the past and would do so again. Glad to see you on the LOU.

Harvey,
Thanks for the weights. They look great!

Nice going Dave!

I have a 150 on my Trophy and troll every weekend. I make sure to run it while after, but no problems trolling what so ever.

We do not tow much, but will tow well behind a full sized truck. It's 3500 lbs dry so a Taho should do fine.
-
I have an 08 and we fish, ski, tube and generally enjoy the heck out of the boat. That is what I like about this model is that it does do it all. I would have liked to have a bigger boat for fishing, but this has been a great family boat.
-
Way to go Dave! Told ya a big one on the wire would be fun.
