  1. I have 6 barely used (just this season on maybe a dozen trips)

Daiwa 8'6" daiwa heartland kokanee downrigger rods

these are paired with Daiwa Accudepth 17LC's freshly spooled with 10 lb mason t-line copolymer (8lb diameter)

I bought these rods for fishing eyes on oneida, spring browns, and the finger lakes.. but have sence bought a new boat and moved north to the henderson area.... These rods are a riot on a 6lb fish! I have landed up to a 13lb king and a 12lb steely on these this spring and although it was a long fight they both came in...

asking $75 a piece for the combos....

  2. After 2 weeks of non stop tinkering I took the new boat out for a shakedown on the second day of the classic at 5 am... and ended up fishing for 28 hours.......

Got off the water on the third day of the classic at about 9am.....

ended up with 4 eyes (3 @ about 7lbs and 1 @ about 9lbs)..... Landshark hopefully got his fix so he will leave me alone about fishing for the stupid things for a while...

15 + browns in the 2-6 pound class and one that weighed in at 10lbs 10oz....

at one point we had three on the boards (1 eyes and 2 browns) but now we are just left with the 10lb brown in second place (keep your fingers crossed)....

The new boat runs great and all the lighting (interior LED, hallogen deck and a 2 million candle power spot light... makes for an easy night of trolling..... (that and the fact landshark showed up with: 10 double cheesebugers, 10 McChickens and 10 apple pies)

gonna try and make it out for one more day of fishing tomorrow to keep/put my self in the money....
