That is how you get arrested. I was part of the thread last year and was able to get my spoons by disputing my credit card was a pain but it got his attention and I recieved my order plus a few The man does excellent work but I seriously looked at all the FLT spoons for sale here in the previous month and would have purchased as I like his products but I will never order directly from him again I will either buy at a retailer or 2nd hand from 1 of you.New electronics coming this month so I have to stay away from the classifieds and can not buy anymore tackle (I hope I start to believe this lol)

There is a product out called cryotek used by HVAC guys for boilers and chillers it is propelene glycol(safe to drink) unlike the free ethylene glycol it is more expensive than ever antifreeze and is red not pink they have charts on the buckets to give you slush and burst points on different concentrations most plumbing and heating supply houses will carry it

Fuses blow on amperage(current flow) not over voltage electronics are very sensitive to power issues I would have your electrical evaluated by a marine mechanic or electrician

I have found using a double uni knot with lighter leaders 6-20# 7 wraps minimum on the. Raid is required less allows the braid to cut the leader also still use 7+ on braid with heavier leader but resort to 3-5 wraps on 30-50# leader as it is not so pliable

I agree sk8man but the initial post stated spring trolling as well as ice fishing that is the only reason I brought up the Dominus suits as a mustang or bouy boy alternative to meet NYS regs

Ck out dominus suits USCG approved jackets around 200 dollars bout a suit 2 years ago for ice fishing and winter boat fishing artic armor and striker ice suits may float but are not a USCG approved PFD

bikinibottom and Troutman87 here on LOU both make real good quality torpedo type (missles ) weights at a fair price and they are both reputable guys that nobody should hesitate doing business with. Always good to support our guys when we can anyway.

I've used Mark Sampson previously, once on the bay, once for sharks with the family. Not a high end fancy marlin type boat but class act and had lots of fun. He does trips to the wrecks and is the local shark guy (probably not the guy if you want marlin but a good guy to ask).

That's is not what we want. That gives sportsmen a bad name. If people see dead lakers floating all over and washing up on the beach, that looks bad. Sportsmen already get a bad name from slobs that litter on the banks of tribs, ponds and lakes. Also the US Fish and Wildlife Service and the DEC would not think too highly of this. It is bad enough guys are not handling them properly and there are floaters all over somedays.
