Looking to take my 10 year old son on a pike trip late October or early November. He caught 5-6 pike bass fishing in Ohio this year and had a blast, nothing over 5lbs for him. Looking to get a bigger one for him. What would be better late October or early November? Im thinking Pike should be back in the shallows? best lures? Colors? Any help would be great matt

Chowder This helps a lot when trolling in waves. Saves on battery when you use it with a kicker. -
Are you putting the half hitch in the loop? You have to have a couple of twist in the line. I’ve done this a couple thousand times running big boards, it works 100% of the time. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

Take 2 fingers and create a loop in the braid and then half hitch the rubber band. The braid will tighten around the rubber band and can not slip. Matt Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

They are made by T&L in MI. They are called Eagle feet.I tried to look them up a while ago I don't think they are still in business.I have someone that may want just the down riggers.If he takes them I will most likely will sell the mount.

Add weight to your boards to get them riding low.. They will pull a lot harder You can even add a kick out plate and really make them pull Matt
