The 2660 Sailfish is in NC full time along with a Carolina Skiff 198 DLV. I have a Sea Hunt Triton CC that keep in PA that I use on Erie for Walleyes. If it works out, we might bring it up for a long weekend. I do have to go thru all the salmon gear and get rid of it. I have close 400 spoons still in the packages, plus the spoons in the boxes, I wouldn't even want to guess how much we have. Wes looked in the boat one time and said he thought I had more than he did at the shop Every time I look at the piles and piles of tackle, it looks overwhelming and I'm not sure where to start. Oh well, one of these days!

Thanks, brings back a lot of memories. Haven't followed the boards or fishing on lake O much last couple years. Might get the itch and drag the Sea Hunt CC up this summer for old times sake. We will see how it goes. 1st tuna/dolphin trip of the year is 3 weeks away, can't wait to get back to our place in NC.

Haven't fished Ontario for a few years now. Caught this Atlantic out of Olcott. Can't remember the year, but I do know it was the same year Jim on Hawg caught his big Atlantic. This one was almost 18 lb's, and was such a pretty fish we had it mounted. Caught a 14 lbs and a couple between 10 to 12 lbs as well. We did get an Ontario slam that year too( King, Coho, Steelhead, Atlantic, Brown Trout & Laker all in same day) After a good couple years ,it went downhill and we might get one or two a year around barley legal size.

If he fished solo,and was his 1st trip of the year, I'd say, Houston we have a problem

Off the market-no longer for sale. Up for sale is our well kept 2006 Sailfish 2660 WAC. The boat has approx 1380 hours(still using boat) on twin Yamaha F150's. The majority of the hours are from trolling Lake Ontario, I have attached screen shots of the data showing total hours & rpm ranges. The harmonic balancer's (as a precaution) were replaced last year(old ones looked fine) and the engines have been flawless. VST filters and timing belt changed around 900 hours. The marina only sells non ethanol 90 octane fuel and thats what has been used in her. Ran compression test on warm engines with throttle fully advanced on all cylinders on both engines, the numbers where from 190 to 194 psi. She sits on a 10,500 lb tandem axles aluminum trailer. Sailfish boat have a variable dead rise hull at 24/22 degrees that really cut thru the water in sloppy conditions.The boat has been used in freshwater since we purchased it in 2007. Bottom is painted and has been since we purchased. I have also attached the Yamaha performance data which shows fuel burns numbers, weights and boat specs. Our boat gets slightly lower than the posted number, but they are really close.Will sleep two comfortably. The trailer weighs in at 1400 lbs which would put the total weight around 8500 lb on the trailer with under a 1/2 tank of fuel. Boat is docked in Olcott,NY on Lake Ontario and a recent survey has been completed and showing the boat in great condition. Surveyor stated boat is super clean and above average, serious buyers can review report and I will answer any questions you have. Sea trial available for serious buyers, might even throw in a little salmon fishing to boot. Thanks for looking! Update, Last weekend in NY, last chance to sea trial on Lake O. You can make one with the Scotty Contact sleeve. I made one years ago, because the same thing happened to me. Especially if you still have a bit of wire sticking out of the old probe antenna that broke. The yacht club puts them out every year for when they do their little races. There are actually four(4) buoy's. If look south of the ones you saw there will be another set in 20/30 ft of water as well. I am sure those things have collected many pieces of tackle over the years. Especially when you get a good rip current going, they can get very low in the water.
