I am sorry to say I witnessed a buck and doe in lockdown breeding in a nearby thicket. I have seen movement slow considerably from Saturday to today. I have been out for all day sits. Going fishing tomorrow. I am going to need a vacation from my week off.

    Gill-T nailed it!

  2. Speedie,

Congrats on your new purchase, even tho it may not feel like it right now.

Check the connection of your live well pump on the inside of your transom, Iam working on a 91 which had the same prob.

Also one other tip I can recommend is buy another bilge pump and connect with a short piece of hose just in case.Wire pump with alligator clips for emergencies.

Keep all the transom holes plugged and you should be fine!

Just a few things to work out and you'll have a very fine rig!

    Good fishing

  3. I have a 1991 GLS 195, just finished up transom replacement. Pulling transom out was a bit of a pain but doable, the original engine was a Johnson 90 that provided plenty of power. Repowering with a 97 Johnson 115, and my trolling  motor is a 2014 Mercury pro kicker. I also have a bow mounted Motorguide Lazer electric trolling motor, and run 3 batteries. I'm thinking with 2 fisherman and gear I should be around 35 mph with stock prop. I will post pics when complete! Love the Seanymphs
