  1. Thanks for the input. I was looking at the transom thinking same thing. Currently dishing off 19 ft aluminum boat . Boat will be trailered so don’t want to go to big. Not really asking about size because I know I will always want bigger. Curious on ride and how well the robalos are built more.
  2. I know this isn’t the best place to post but anybody running this boat on Ontario. Opinions? Of layout and quality for lake O?
  3. The one I am looking at is an 8’6 beam. I am currently running a 19 ft starweld. When I first bought boat I was fishing a lot of different lakes . Now realizing that lake O is where I want to be more than not… Hoping to step up to a more lake O friendly boat.
  4. Hey guys did a search and came up empty. Looking at a clean robalo 23 ft wa. Says the deadrise is 22 degrees. I am curious how this deadrise would be for trolling? Also any opinions on robalo boats and for an Ontario setup.
  5. Guys a plug for Gary. I have seen this boat in person at the launch and talked with him. Nice rig .👍
  6. Wondering if anyone is inning a bigger center console and how they like it? Don’t see many out there wondering why?
  7. Thanks for the reply. Really thinking before I buy something of having a survey done . It will have to be a little bit older boat so we’ll worth the money
  8. Just wondering what an average survey costs ? Looking at bigger boats and thinking of I decide to a survey should be done.
  9. Hard to believe one of the bigger companies didn’t snatch them up.
  10. Anybody running an okuma blue Diamond med heavy for kings? My son bought me one for my birthday. I personally would have bought medium. Just curious. Seems like it will be good . Thanks for any input

  12. Curious if you guys would steer clear of a salt water boat or buy?
  13. We stayed rite on the shore of this lake for an elk hunt years ago. Got an elk early in the trip. Which I knew fish like this in there . I would have fished it some.
  14. Lake George is a nice fishery. Depending where you go nice lakers and landlocked. I have had luck on small stinger spoons. I have noticed copper backs seem to produce on lakers for me. 10 color lead and riggers and planers for salmon. The only thing is make sure you get boat washed before you put in. They are sticklers up there. Fish 307 is there and can provide a lot of up to date info.
  15. Rolmops think it may have been self inflicted. I left it hooked up and drove down the lake with kicker tilted up and motor turned opposite way the big motor did. Which pulled it apart. After I put back together back together is when problem started. I have to look at it this week. Hopefully nothing got damaged
  16. Haven’t yet . Been working hood until the other day when it came apart. Going to look at that this week and try adjusting it .
  17. Hey last weekend I was fishing and ez steer bar seperated on the way out. Once out it wouldn’t hold in place. Did I loose something?
  18. Browns have been tough the last 2 weekends out of Mexico. But that can change quickly. Cooler temps and colored water should help. Look ing forward for some striper fishing . Kick back relax and wait 👍
  19. Ha join the crowd on loosing stuff . Last weekend I bought a new challenger on the way to the lake . First pass I got it out of the package put it out set rod in holder. Sat in driver seat and was snagged almost instantly.
  20. Minion good luck . I have checked high and low for a few. Can’t believe nobody is buying bayrat out an making them.
  21. Chinook it was unhooked and released almost immediately. Quick pick and sent it.
  22. Ya I thought we had a pretty good brown on but nope 😄😄. I was kind of confused when it surfaced behind the boat.
