    AT THIS POINT THEY ARE NO LONGER CONSIDERED A INVASIVE SPECIES AS THEY HAVE ESTABALISHED A BREEDING POPULATION IN JUST ABOUT ALL THE FINGER LAKES

    Did the bows look in good condition for their size that lake has some beautiful bows in it. Can you tell me what the water temperature was at the depth you were fishing & were you marking bait thanks

    That is a brown of a lifetime caught a brown in the mid-eighties that was 24.12 in the derby the brown you caught is a sure trophy congratulations a sure wall mount for sure beautiful fish

    Does anyone know if the Finger Lakes trollers had there tournament today on Canandaigua Lake & if so what was the final results

    Not to bad that lake is a premier rainbow fishery do not screw it up they get some spawning brown in naples creek that recruit well. I wish they allowed us to keep 2 rainbows in the lake great lake to catch numbers of beautiful bows

    There maybe small runs into streams but are likely quick & shortly lived may come back as the circle of life comes around

    You what smelt go to the Niagara River I believe they still get a run there

    Do not think there are many smelt left in the lake could be small schools but not like years ago replaced by alewife

    We have a similar rig called a green mountain grabber here in Vermont that we put a nightcrawler on that we catch rainbows & landlock salmon on
