    SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

    ====================

    Launched at Henderson and made our way to the Trench, not one single hit in the Trench, we marked very few fish. Made our way over to the wall and began working it tight and marked fish, but they didn't seem to like anything we gave them. Saw other boats fishing the area, but not sure if any of them hooked up. This is the first time the East-N-Der has not put fish in the box, But most of all I spent some quality time with my Boys and a good friend :yes: A few fish in the box would have been an added bonus to the day.

  3. Thanks All! :) Celebrating today with my Son's and Grandsons :yes: Then heading to Cam Am Speedway tonite to watch some friends of ours race, hopefully if I can dodge the deer the boys and I can hit the Big O Sunday!

  4. It has most of the summer and the boys and I have not hit the Big-O since this spring for Browns :( My boys have been busy and it's hard for me to fish without them. So last Sat. was a day when we all could get together and fish :) So Saturday morning rolls around and I head out to pick up my boys and I'm all pumped!! Got down the road a mile and a dang deer runs out in front of me, slam on the brakes, boat trailer brakes lock up and it jack knifes into the ditch, and the BANG the deer bounces off the front of my GMC, it gets up and runs in the woods, I grab the flashlight and go check it out and find it laying down, kicking like it's mad at me for some reason! Head back to check out the truck and it has some slight damage but the boat,s all good :) Call the Sheriff Dept. and they send a Deputy who shows up and checks everything out does the paper work and tells me how he's been up on the Big O, and he's looking forward to heading back up next week. I call the wife she runs down and helps the Deputy load the deer in the truck. I decided there is nothing short of the end of the world that's going to keep my boys and I from fishing Sat!! So I get going, deer in the back, with visions of fresh back straps. Then I look in the mirror and see SMOKE :( off both wheels on the trailer, it' s seems that the brakes most have stayed locked up, I pull over take a look at them and decide if I can back home and beat them with a BFH to get them loose, then head back to the Big O, I know it's not the way to repair anything, but I'm desperate at this point to get to fishin!! So slowly heading back home and in the mirror I see more SMOKE then FLAMES not good :( I pull over and made the call to the boys, then came jacked up the trailer, took off the worst wheel and we limped back home. I guess we were not suppose to fish that Sat! Everything happens for a reason!!

    Fog lots of it, most of the morning, you couldn't even see to pee! Sure was glad to have a local native, Bottom Feeder along, he got us safely out of Stony. Once out of Stony we head South. Hits were far and few between, when they did hit it was a short hook up then gone!! We did manage to land 1 Brown at a little over 10lbs. As far is filling the box, not so good, spending a day with my two sons and a friend on the water with a lot of laughs Priceless!!
