    SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

    ====================

    Wheres the fish?? i was smokin the browns last weekend with 6 caught over 6 LBS with largest being just over 8 ripping cleos on the top and trolling NKs in 5- 15 FOW. today was a diffrent story. I found the fish, but they turned out to be some carp ( couldnt tell at 5:45 in the morning). had one fish hit on a black/gold NK out in front of a creek mouth, but there was no surface action like there had been last week. There was some baitfish in real close, but couldnt find the Browns today, or for that matter, the past few days. Im now waiting for a good rain to push them up close again, till then i have officially lost the fish in my area from the yak ;(

    heres the biggest one from last week

  2. It has realy calmed down over night. We had been gettin 6 footers all day yesterday, but now more choppy than anything, maybe 1 ft waves in the rochester area but the water looks like milk chocolate

  3. im getting excited, fishing for striper aug 26th- 31st with a friend of my aunt in marblehead, Mass. I hope you guys are right about the striper fishin, i realy would love to hook into a couple big ones. Any hints or tips about how to catch em? i was thinkin topwater, looking for rolling stripers and blues, any other suggestions? Also, is a low-profile bass baitcaster too small of a reel? i have about 150 yards of 15 lb. braid on it

  4. i honestly think that if you find gobies, you'll find smallies. They absolutly devour them and now Yum! and Gulp both make soft plastic gobies just for that
