  1. I finally purchased a Bass Boat... it was a tough decission to let go of my mulity speicies boat . After riding in a buddies boat at 70 MPH... I knew i was sunk... and had to have one

It's 2004 Ranger 185VS with a 2011 175 HP  E/TECH The motor only has 89 hours on it, and has 2 years remaining on the warranty

  2. Interesting reading about boat control on the whirlpools.

i have a question that maybe someone can answer.

I fish there a handful of times ever year.

I see sea gulls sitting on the water in the whirlpools all the time.

My question is how can it pull a floating object the size of a boat down but those gulls sit there without a care in the world?

    Always been curious about that......

Damn good Question...any one got an answer?????

  3. My buddy Ian and i traved down to port Dalhouse last thrusday, we let Ottawa at (;30 pm, hoping to arive and get a few hours in shore trashing... but was met by strong cold winds... so we grabed a few hours sleep befor Joe got there with his boat. We launched the lund just past Dawn... worked the centre and the far shore with no hook ups.. so we moved to the Lower... same thing there no fish.

  4. Wow, that's fantastic, I'm not to sure if we have Grass Carp over here.... I talk to a lot of Carp Anglers from around the world here on the Long Sault Parkway on the St. Lawrence river... And none has ever mentioned that they had caught on or ever seen one... I'll be looking real close this Spring in the Spawning beds. Open invitation to you and your buddies if you ever want to come over for a weekend to fish for Carp, like i said to DF... just bring rain gear, i can out fit up 8 fisherman with equipment... over here we are only allowed to use one rod... in N.Y. you are allowed 2.. we hope to get this changed soon, but 30 to 40 fish a day is common here. check out the Gallery on this site, the owner Jeff is a good friend and a great Carp guide.
