  1.

Got a new to me boat finally so this is now up for sale. Has a mercruiser 5.7 engine which runs good. I had a kicker motor on it but took it off but the brackets still on. The lower unit was all rebuilt a year ago. Has a lowrance fish finder. The boat needs some tlc but she’s very sea worthy. Fished in 5 footers and it handled it better than I did. Lol. Motor was professionally winterized both years I owned it. Put it in a tank yesterday and she fired right up ran good. Great starter boat IMG_0213.JPGIMG_0212.JPG

  2. Finger lakes trollers assoc did Keuka last Saturday. 17 boats weighed 3 lake trout each. Assume minimum two people per boat, could have legally taken 102 trout.
It bothers me that competition fish are not returned healthy like in bass tournaments. I suppose it just doesn’t work that way but still.
Oh, and the winner also had a landlock for the win.

3 lakers per boat on those derbies not per person. Derbies seem to be the least of the problem on Keuka. Need more bait. When lakers main diet is small perch theirs definitely a problem

  3. Hemlock is one of the best lakes around as far as peaceful and scenery. Their is some nice fish there too. Hemlock can be tough fishing at times though. You’ll probably catch more fish at Cayuga. And remember only 10 hp or under for hemlock. If you wanna get away from the crowds definitely try hemlock.

  4. We went out for a couple hours this morning caught 15 Browns and nice king. Fished 13 to 25 ft at 2.2 mph. Bay rats in orange colors as well as mixed veggies were good. Spoons mixed veggies and crazy **** were good as well. Find the green water and put some bright colors on and the fish will come. Caught fish on the boards on the riggers as well as the chinook divers.IMG_0158.JPGIMG_0154.JPGIMG_0162.JPG

  5. Went out as well Sunday. Netted 23 Browns nothing super huge but still a fun day. Caught a lot of fish on bay rats as well as spoons. Mixed Veggies Sodus point buckeyes or anything in orange did the job. Caught couple on riggers a few on boards but most were caught on chinook dipseys. Was our first trip out in our new to us 2011 Lund sport angler. Great way to break it in. X2 on dodging the boards. Some people are just idiots. Most of the fish we caught were right under us
