  1. I did Octopus rear drive and the SiTex CP120, did not need a new cable. Works excellent and SiTex  customer support was top notch. If you email them they tell you exactly what is needed.

My only complaint is the instruction manual could of been better.

  2. 2005 elec start, manual tilt long shaft hight thrust freshwater only kicker with controls and cables. Runs perfect. Package includes Powertran wired and wireless steering with two fobs, control king throttle. $1800. Can include brand new Panther swim platform bracket for $200. May separate items if needed but for now would like to sell as a package.

Tragedy for sure, prayer to the family...there needs to be a better system to gage wave height and conditions to prevent this from happening again. So many times I have looked at a report of lake conditions only to be surprised when I actually got out there that it was wrong. With the technology we have today you should be able to know at least accurate  real time conditions across the lake, .,,just my 2 cents...

  5. I use the main engine with autopilot on the rough days and the kicker with the Powertran Python on the others. So far in the 2 years i have had it the kicker has been used more times than not. The Powertran is a nice unit, turns fast and comes with hard wire and wireless controls. The wireless remote is sweet option, especially with only 2 guys in the boat or solo. Wear it like a necklace.

I tried the tie-bar option and it wasn't that hard to turn but the turn radius and reaction time was poor.
