we fished out of hughes this morning went out to 200 fow set up on a north troll and picked up a king in 230 ish fow fished out to 300 fow on a blank screen so we worked back south to 120 fow where we started picking a mixed bag of lakers and  kings all the way to ginna where it turned to all lakers pretty much on a blank screen they are starting to stage in that 120-150 range

I fish out of hughes all the time great people great spot!!!

I will be fishing out of hughes all weekend on ch. 9

trolling to the west has prouduced the best for me

Use mine more in the spring fishing browns in cold water works mint can drop speed to .75 mph with it without I could not get below 2 mph. The other option is to adjust your idle screw

your flasher fly problem is probably due to the amount of line you are running between the dr ball and the flasher. salmon are not line shy i run 20 lb flea flicker to the swivel no leader for trout i use 12lb leaders 10 feet long. also your speed is a factor some days the magic number is 2.3 the next it could be 3.4 and it makes all the differance in the world. also try running nk28 instead of mags.
