I hear ya , can't beat a dog or a couple dogs pounding a hare !!

Anyone have any luck? I seen a couple fawns is all so far

As a general rule they will circle back to where they were jumped, unless it's a buck hare in March , where they line out back to there home area...

I will b hunting just puddle ducks

I'd rather hunt hare then deer. I do hunt cottontails a few times a winter but seems there numbers are down in my area.. Maybe lack of cover , or due to predators is there reason

Thanks for the replies... I will be going to check out a few and see what fits me and feels the best when I pull it up.. Nothing against the 870 but they don't fit me well at all, even though it's a older model its long and heavy and the recoil pad catches in my jacket when I pull it up..I've heard a lot of good about the frenchi as well .

They are best marinated in something or breaded and deep fried.. I'm sure it is a lot of fun shooting white rabbits on bare ground, but i prefer to hunt them when snow is one , which makes it alittle more challenging ..

Does anyone use the browning A-5 for waterfowl hunting? I'm looking at retiring the old 870 and trying to decide which make and model to buy, leaning towards the browning, but keeping an open mind to all makes and models...let's hear what u guys recommend ... Thanks

Nice job Kevin, we shot 5 yesterday ourselves, 2 mallards and 3 woodies and today the kids shot 3 mallards and 1 woody..They flew better yesterday for us compared to today, more misses then what they connected with .. Sure was a lot of fun watching the kids enjoy themselves .

Does anyone use the wonder duck decoys ? If so, do U think they help your spread ?

Took my son and his cousin out , they had a blast with steady shooting for the first 45 mins. Ended up getting 5 with each kid going through a box of shells each.once I figure out how to attach a picture again, I will attach it ..
