Boats are a work in process:

1998 Sportcraft 252 Fisherman. Bought in 2010. Added tracks and rod holders in 2011. New electrical in 2012. Re powered in 2013. New electronics in 2015. Rebuilt transmission for 2017. Always in process.

My son did a replica of a 12 lb brown my then 13 year old grandson cranked in a few years ago. If we had set arbitrary size limits he would not have this great looking specimen on the wall of his room.

Didn't get an evening trip in. Shift cable end broke so I spent my evening getting the broken one removed. Now to get a new one and get it installed for next weekend.

Had three matures by 7:30 in 80-90 fow. Then the fish got lockjaw. Meat at 70, orange crush spoon at 40, King of Sting at 80. Managed one small King and one 8 lb steelhead at the 30- 31. Not a rip on flasher flies. Going to do an evening trip too.

For the last several seasons it has been a gold 42 second spin doctor pulling a moonshine smitty fly. Last week we could not get a ff bite no matter what.

Dropped lines at 530 in 205fow. Trolled n. Screen was alive in 240 for 2 hrs with no takers . Fished out to 550 w only one skipper. On way back in now. Did just land 13#king on purple twinkle rig w meat at 130 over 500.

We had good signal at 140 with the torpedo wire today. I

We've been running torpedo brand wire with our Subtroll for two years now. I like it and have never lost signal with it. We usually don't need to go deeper than 120.
