  1. Went 4 for 5. Biggest 23in. Gold colored sticks were best. No spoon bite off riggers all day. Nice plume around the chute. 2 were full of gobies and flesh was beautiful red, 2 that were empty were pale white fleshed.
  2. Thank you all for your dedication to the sport! Good luck out on the water Koot. I hope to wet lines Fi. out of Fairhaven or Sodus!
  3. I'd go with a tiller and an electric speed control such as troll king for quick removal to your 12 fter. When you add up 4stroke, electric start, long shaft and power trim that's getting quite heavy for a 12 fter. I'm thinking someone willing to lift that baby on off the two boats could probably do without the electric trim and start but that's just my cents.
  4. I hope Kayak Guy takes note of this. Was there any forecast for this front?
  5. Tips that make river walleye taste way better. Cut their gills immediately and throw them on ice. Then when filleting them, cut the lateral line out. If you cut the"V" cut just right, the Lateral line will Zipper right out. It actually feels like a zipper. Then you can soak them in salt water overnight as well. Pristine, Devine Big perch fillets. Oh don't forget to fillet out the cheeks!!!!! Here's my last Susky River Eye from a few weeks ago.Let her go though. These hit the pan. The Muddy Susky:
  6. Stick on wheel weights. Counter sink holes and screw them on or router/ dato out a spot on the side / bottom/ aft end and embed them, epoxy over. They wantto be a little heavier toward the aft end. Amish outfitters Tow bungees help in heavy seas.
  7. Still using my spot light for the last 16years
  8. Thanks for the responses fellas. I was most interested in the fishing forecast where they rate it as Poor, Fair, Excellent and weather you find it to be correct. Like: Yep we hammered them today and the report said Excellent. Or Nope, Hammered them today even though it said Poor!
  9. Just wondering what guys think of Accuweather's Fishing forecast. Poor, fair, good, excellent.
  10. Absolutely agree. These guys that come back with detailed discripts of deer they missed should be zeroing in on: possible route path, The boiler room, and body language!!!
  11. I agree with Gill-T. Magnus stinger. Definitely cut on contact.
  12. In Tioga county 7S here, Have NOT seen a deer in my last 6 hunts! Worst action year in years
  13. Might better keep that one. Don't want to pass on those stupid genes! Just kidding!
  14. WTG n that Yote. My last 3 hunts skunked. No deer seen! I hunt state forest. Lots of human activity!
  15. Thru the years I have also hit 2 deer where the broadhead "mini blaste3s got hung up in opposite side shoulder and deer ran off with arrow flopping though they had about 9 inches of arrow broke off. Each one I felt sick to my stomach and gave them 1.5 hours before climbing down as I thought they were pour hits, but both times they were stiff when found, and only traveled 40yrds or less. My last visual on the arrow/hit isn't always correct.
  16. Adding a weighted insert will help, helical vanes as well. Both of my bows need almost perfect level nock height for fixed blade. The ol 1/16-1/8 nock high scattered my groups. Just touch the aft line on the bubble level brought my groups in. This was on Mathews Monster 6.7 and Switchback XT.
